I think you could have used many more lighter colors and the effect will be more dynamic due to a transparency and variety. You are on your way and I expect great things!

Johnny – you have soo much potential and just need to really apply yourself. You sense of color and value – the light and dark needs work. You can capture the shape of the animal very quickly but you need to spend time pushing your darks and light. That means printing your images out in black and white and seeing if you can see the details. Your compositions are good now play with illustrator like you play with photoshop. 2. The building is great. The direction of the lines makes the building look as though it is falling into the sky and that is emphasized by your use of color – now yo have to work on the spider. I feel you could have worked harder on placement and definition of the spider into the image and illustration technique – watch you use of text.
Very cool but I know you have an even better one! That one shows more detail shows how much work you really put into it.
